Enterprise Storytelling
YCMAD Global Celebration
Colgate-Palmolive — Six films, plus the week-of content in New York.
The situation
Colgate-Palmolive’s Chairman’s You Can Make a Difference Awards recognize standout teams from around the world. The challenge was to tell those stories with real emotional depth while working across multiple countries, cultures and business units, all within a disciplined production budget.
The existing format relied heavily on a single team spokesperson. We saw an opportunity to make the films feel more personal, more inclusive and more reflective of the teams themselves.
What we did
Turn Card reimagined the format around the full team. Rather than asking one person to speak for everyone, we interviewed every team member and built each film from their individual perspectives, giving the audience a fuller picture of the work, the people behind it and why the team had earned global recognition.
We produced the films internationally, then embedded with the winners during YCMAD Celebration Week in New York. That footage was turned around the same week into a welcome film for the awards ceremony, while the finished documentaries became part of the live event experience at The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center.
What it proved
Global enterprise storytelling can still feel deeply personal. By giving every team member a voice, the films became more inclusive, emotionally specific and reflective of the people behind the work.
The project also proved Turn Card could operate across international production, documentary storytelling and live-event content, including fast-turn material created and delivered during the same week as the celebration.
The linked example shows the week-of celebration. The documentaries themselves are internally facing only.
