Greenfield Robotics
Greenfield Robotics — A technical product, told through a working farmer.
The situation
Greenfield Robotics is developing autonomous farming technology designed to control weeds without relying on herbicides. The idea is powerful, but the technology, business model and larger vision for regenerative agriculture can be difficult to explain quickly, especially to an audience encountering the company for the first time.
As Greenfield prepared for a crowdfunding push, it needed content that could explain not only how the robots work, but why the technology matters to farmers, consumers and potential investors.
What we did
Turn Card built the story around the people already using and believing in the technology. We filmed Greenfield founder Clint Brauer, real farmers and the robots working in the field, combining founder story, customer experience and product demonstration into a series of films designed for the campaign.
Rather than treating the robots as the story, we used them as the proof. The films connected the technology to bigger ideas around reducing herbicide use, supporting farmers and changing how food can be grown.
What it proved
The campaigns delivered. Greenfield met or exceeded its fundraising goals in each crowdfunding round supported by Turn Card content, including a 2026 raise of more than $3.7 million. The company has since grown to more than 2,600 individual investors, expanded its robots into working farms across multiple states, and sold out its 2026 field season.
